What is a Screencast?

A screen cast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration. Just as a screenshot is a picture of a user's screen, a screen cast is essentially a movie of what a user sees on their monitor. More available at WikiPedia.

Why does Wetpaint Nation have a Screencast?

Wetpaint Nation has screen casts because Josh believes that the listeners need to have video How-To(s) on how to do certain things, such as creating a Wetpaint Wiki. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at podcast [at] buddes [dot] net.
